Responsibilities
- Load and unload: Safely and efficiently load and unload trucks and containers to prepare for the night shift.
- Pick and pack: Accurately select products from the warehouse shelves and prepare them for shipment according to customer orders.
- Inventory management: Assist with cycle counting and inventory accuracy checks to maintain stock levels.
- Forklift operation: Operate powered industrial trucks (forklifts) to move materials as needed (certification preferred).
- Safety compliance: Adhere to all OSHA safety regulations and company protocols to maintain a hazard-free workplace.
- Equipment maintenance: Perform routine inspection and cleaning of warehouse equipment and workstations.
Qualifications
- Schedule availability: Must be available to work night shifts (e.g., 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM or similar rotating shifts).
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Physical stamina: Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout the shift.
- Attention to detail: Strong focus on accuracy when picking and packing orders.
- Communication: Basic verbal communication skills to interact with team leads and supervisors.
- Reliability: A track record of punctuality and dependability.
