Responsibilities
- Load and unload freight efficiently and safely from delivery trucks using forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Manage inventory by scanning items, verifying counts against packing lists, and ensuring accurate stock levels.
- Perform quality control checks to ensure all products meet company standards before shipping.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace to adhere to safety regulations and maximize efficiency.
- Operate warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, reach trucks) in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with the night shift team to ensure workflow continuity and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is preferred but not always required.
- Ability to work night shifts (typically 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM or similar schedules).
- Basic computer literacy and ability to operate handheld scanners.
- Physical stamina required to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly.
- Reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
- Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
