Responsibilities
- Patrolling commercial properties and monitoring surveillance systems
- Responding to alarms and investigating security incidents
- Managing access control for employees and visitors
- Writing detailed incident reports using digital platforms
- Coordinating with local law enforcement during emergencies
- Conducting nightly perimeter checks of assigned premises
- Maintaining communication with central command center
Qualifications
- Active DC Security License (PSB certification)
- Minimum 2 years security experience in night shift roles
- Valid CPR/AED certification or willingness to obtain
- Proficient with CCTV systems and access control software
- Ability to stand/walk 8+ hours per shift
- Strong observational and de-escalation skills
- Pass federal background check and drug screening
- Must have reliable transportation to downtown DC
