Responsibilities
- Monitor and maintain enterprise network infrastructure during overnight shifts (11 PM - 7 AM)
- Respond to security incidents and implement real-time mitigation protocols
- Perform vulnerability scans and penetration testing on network systems
- Collaborate with global security teams during incident response
- Document security events and generate daily operational reports
- Configure and optimize firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems
- Conduct quarterly compliance audits for PCI DSS and HIPAA standards
Qualifications
- 5+ years of enterprise network engineering experience
- Certified Ethical Hacker (CEH) or CompTIA Security+
- Expertise in Cisco, Palo Alto Networks, and Fortinet technologies
- Proven incident response experience in SOC environments
- Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, DNS, and routing protocols
- Ability to work autonomously during overnight shifts
- Experience with SIEM platforms (Splunk, QRadar)
- Valid U.S. government security clearance preferred
