Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2-3 technical support for servers, network infrastructure, and cloud systems during night shifts
- Monitor and resolve system alerts, outages, and security incidents in real-time
- Install, configure, and maintain hardware components including servers, workstations, and peripherals
- Document incident reports, resolutions, and standard operating procedures
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless handover and knowledge transfer
- Conduct system health checks and preventative maintenance during low-traffic periods
- Support remote employees with after-hours connectivity and software issues
Qualifications
- 3+ years of hands-on IT support experience with night shift or on-call exposure
- Proficiency in Windows Server administration, Active Directory, and VMWare
- Strong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP) and security protocols
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote management tools
- CompTIA Network+ or AWS/Azure certification preferred
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills for cross-shift documentation
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during off-hours
- Valid Washington driver's license for occasional equipment transport
