Responsibilities
- Provide remote and on-site technical support for hardware, software, and network systems during night shift hours
- Monitor system alerts and proactively resolve infrastructure issues before business hours
- Deploy patches, updates, and security configurations during maintenance windows
- Document all incidents, resolutions, and system changes in ITSM tools
- Collaborate with day-shift teams for seamless cross-shift handovers
- Support end-users via ticket systems and chat platforms during off-peak hours
- Conduct periodic system health checks and performance optimization
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience in IT support or system administration
- Strong knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory, and cloud platforms (AWS/Azure)
- CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification required
- Experience with ticketing systems (ServiceNow, Jira) and remote support tools
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision during night shifts
- Excellent troubleshooting skills for both hardware and software issues
- Strong written communication for technical documentation
- Valid North Carolina driver's license for on-site support
