Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including vitals monitoring and medication administration
- Assist physicians with examinations and minor procedures
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Triage incoming patient calls and triage urgent situations
- Prepare exam rooms and sterilize medical equipment
- Coordinate with day-shift teams for seamless patient transitions
- Adhere strictly to HIPAA compliance protocols
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA or RMA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in hospital/urgent care setting
- Valid BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency with EHR systems (Epic, Cerner, or Meditech)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish
- Reliable transportation for overnight shifts
