Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain AWS/GCP infrastructure for enterprise clients
- Automate deployment pipelines using Terraform and Ansible
- Perform nightly system health checks and proactive maintenance
- Resolve critical outages during off-peak hours with SLA adherence
- Collaborate with global teams via Slack during daytime handovers
- Document infrastructure changes and create technical runbooks
- Mentor junior engineers during shift transitions
Qualifications
- 5+ years of cloud infrastructure experience with AWS/GCP
- Expertise in containerization (Docker/Kubernetes) and serverless architecture
- Strong scripting skills (Python/Bash) and CI/CD pipeline knowledge
- Night shift availability (10 PM - 6 AM PST, 4 days/week)
- Relevant certifications (AWS/Azure/GCP) preferred
- Experience with monitoring tools (Datadog/Prometheus)
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
