Responsibilities
- Perform vital signs, EKGs, and patient intake assessments
- Assist providers with clinical procedures and examinations
- Manage electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Administer injections and prepare medications under provider supervision
- Coordinate patient education materials and follow-up care
- Maintain sterile exam rooms and inventory control
- Schedule appointments and handle insurance verification
Qualifications
- Active Medical Assistant certification (CMA, RMA, or NCMA)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in ambulatory care
- BLS/CPR certification
- Proficiency in EHR systems (Epic preferred)
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- Excellent communication and multitasking abilities
- Ability to lift 25 lbs and stand for extended periods
