Responsibilities
- Architecting Future-Proof Systems: Design and implement distributed AI infrastructure capable of handling petabyte-scale data and real-time inference.
- Model Development: Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models, from research and prototyping to deployment and optimization.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor a team of junior and senior engineers, conducting code reviews and establishing best practices for AI engineering.
- Strategic Roadmap: Define the technical roadmap for our 2026 initiatives, ensuring alignment with business goals and technological advancements.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, data scientists, and stakeholders to translate complex requirements into technical solutions.
- Ethical AI: Ensure all AI systems adhere to strict ethical guidelines and safety protocols to prevent bias and ensure fairness.
Qualifications
- Education: MS or PhD in Computer Science, Machine Learning, or a related quantitative field from a top-tier institution.
- Experience: 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 3 years in a leadership or senior AI engineering role.
- Technical Skills: Deep expertise in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and distributed computing frameworks (e.g., Kubernetes, Apache Spark).
- Algorithmic Knowledge: Strong understanding of deep learning architectures, NLP, and computer vision.
- Communication: Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Problem Solving: Proven track record of solving ambiguous, high-impact problems in fast-paced environments.
