Responsibilities
- System Architecture: Design and implement robust machine learning pipelines and distributed systems capable of handling petabyte-scale data.
- Model Development: Lead the research and deployment of state-of-the-art generative models, optimizing for accuracy, speed, and resource efficiency.
- Team Leadership: Mentor junior engineers and data scientists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the R&D department.
- Technical Strategy: Define the long-term technical roadmap for AI capabilities, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry trends.
- Collaboration: Work closely with product managers, security experts, and UX designers to integrate AI seamlessly into user experiences.
- Optimization: Continuously monitor model performance and latency, implementing aggressive optimization strategies for edge and cloud deployment.
Qualifications
- Education: PhD or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field, with a focus on Artificial Intelligence.
- Experience: 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering or machine learning, with at least 2 years in a leadership or architect role.
- Technical Skills: Deep proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and CUDA programming. Strong understanding of Transformer architectures and NLP.
- System Design: Proven experience designing large-scale distributed systems and cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to tackle complex mathematical and engineering challenges with creative solutions.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
