As a Junior IT Support Specialist, you will be the first line of defense for our employees, ensuring our technology ecosystem runs smoothly. You will work alongside senior engineers who are eager to mentor you.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support to internal staff via phone, email, and in-person.
- Troubleshoot hardware (laptops, printers, monitors) and software issues (Windows, Microsoft Office, VPN access).
- Manage and maintain the IT asset inventory and perform basic hardware upgrades.
- Assist in the setup and configuration of new employee workstations.
- Monitor and report on IT ticket trends to improve service delivery.
- Support company-wide initiatives, including software deployments and security patches.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Basic understanding of computer hardware components and operating systems (Windows 10/11).
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Enthusiastic learner with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Availability to work a hybrid schedule (2-3 days in-office) in Denver.
- Current enrollment in an IT certification program (CompTIA A+, Network+) is a plus.
