Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and respond to help desk tickets in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of employee workstations and peripherals.
- Maintain accurate documentation of technical issues, resolutions, and standard operating procedures.
- Collaborate with senior IT staff to improve service delivery and user experience.
- Conduct user training sessions on new software and security protocols.
- Monitor system performance and report minor anomalies to the senior team.
Qualifications
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Basic knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems.
- Familiarity with help desk software (e.g., Zendesk, ServiceNow, or Jira Service Management).
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude toward resolving technical issues.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills to interact with diverse user groups.
- Ability to work independently as a contractor while adhering to company standards.
