We are seeking a highly skilled IT Support Specialist to join our elite team on a premium contract basis. This role is designed for a tech-savvy professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is specifically available for weekend shifts.
As a key member of our technical team, you will ensure seamless operations and maintain high service standards for our enterprise clients during off-hours. This is a unique opportunity to leverage your expertise in a flexible, high-impact role.
Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 2 technical support for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Manage and resolve incoming helpdesk tickets during weekend shifts.
- Perform system backups and patch management on scheduled weekends.
- Monitor server health and ensure 99.9% uptime for critical systems.
- Collaborate with the on-site team to resolve escalated technical issues.
- Document all incidents and resolutions in the knowledge base.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk roles.
- Guaranteed availability to work weekends (Saturday and Sunday).
- Strong understanding of Windows Server and Active Directory.
- Experience with remote troubleshooting tools (TeamViewer, LogMeIn).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- CompTIA A+ or Network+ certification is a plus.
