Responsibilities

  • Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
  • Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory and various SaaS platforms.
  • Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve firewall or router configuration problems.
  • Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow or JIRA).
  • Conduct hardware inventory audits and order necessary replacement parts.
  • Collaborate with the senior engineering team to implement new IT policies and procedures.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
  • Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is a plus.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Ability to lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be available to work on-site in Colorado Springs.
