Responsibilities
- Provide Tier 1 and Tier 2 technical support via phone, email, and in-person for hardware and software issues.
- Assist in the deployment, configuration, and maintenance of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
- Manage user accounts, permissions, and access controls within Active Directory and various SaaS platforms.
- Troubleshoot network connectivity issues and resolve firewall or router configuration problems.
- Document all technical issues and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system (e.g., ServiceNow or JIRA).
- Conduct hardware inventory audits and order necessary replacement parts.
- Collaborate with the senior engineering team to implement new IT policies and procedures.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required; Associate’s degree in Computer Science or IT preferred.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a technical support or helpdesk role.
- Strong knowledge of Windows 10/11 and Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Familiarity with network protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS) is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical users.
- Ability to lift and carry computer equipment weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Must be available to work on-site in Colorado Springs.
