Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, AGI) with disruptive potential
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligning technological innovation with business objectives
- Conduct scenario planning for industry disruption and market evolution post-2025
- Collaborate with R&D to prototype and validate futuristic concepts through pilot programs
- Present strategic insights to executive stakeholders and external partners through compelling narratives
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry influencers
- Author thought leadership publications on technology's societal and economic impact
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology Strategy, Futures Studies, Computer Science, or related field
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies (blockchain, AI, biotech, quantum systems)
- Proven track record of translating foresight into actionable business strategies
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities
- Strong communication skills for presenting complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis frameworks
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or implemented strategic innovations
