Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps integrating quantum computing, AI, and biotech convergence
- Lead cross-disciplinary innovation sprints with MIT and Stanford research partners
- Identify emerging tech disruptors through patent analysis and academic research
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and investment committees
- Secure $2M+ annual R&D budgets through compelling tech investment proposals
- Mentor junior futurists in scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in tech strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech forecasting
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurology
- Published research in Nature/Science on technology convergence trends
- Proven track record securing >$10M in innovation funding
- Expertise in quantum machine learning and synthetic biology
- Certified Futurist (CF) from Association of Professional Futurists
- Fluency in Python, R, and strategic foresight frameworks (e.g., Delphi, STEEP)
