Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain the 2026 strategic foresight framework, identifying disruptive technologies and societal shifts
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on emerging market opportunities
- Produce annual 'Future State' reports with actionable recommendations for R&D and product development
- Collaborate with AI/quantum computing teams to integrate predictive analytics into strategic decisioning
- Represent the organization at global futurist forums and establish thought leadership
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futures-thinking methodologies to current challenges
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technological adoption curves
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year future-state roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and systems thinking methodologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Policy, or related field
- Deep understanding of AI, biotech, quantum computing, and climate tech convergence points
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence and public speaking expertise
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., AC/FS preferred)
