Responsibilities
- Lead development of the company's 2026+ strategic vision through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Conduct deep-dive research on emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal shifts
- Collaborate with C-suite to integrate future insights into corporate strategy and roadmaps
- Develop scenario-planning models for potential futures and risk-mitigation strategies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership and board stakeholders
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry thought leaders
- Drive innovation workshops across departments to embed foresight into organizational DNA
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategy, Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field; PhD preferred
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or corporate strategy with future-planning focus
- Proven track record developing and implementing long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for executive audiences
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive modeling and trend analysis
- Deep understanding of global megatrends (climate, geopolitics, demographic shifts)
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-strategy implementations
