Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain horizon-scanning frameworks to identify emerging technologies, societal shifts, and disruptive business models through 2030
- Produce scenario-planning models and strategic roadmaps for C-suite decision-making, quantifying potential impacts and opportunities
- Lead cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and marketing teams to integrate future insights into innovation pipelines
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynote presentations at global forums on the future of work, technology, and sustainability
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, government agencies, and think tanks to forecast systemic changes
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and environmental signals to assess risks and opportunities for organizational resilience
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Management, or equivalent with 8+ years of applied experience
- Proven track record in developing and implementing future-strategy frameworks for Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Deep expertise in AI/ML, biotech, or climate tech domains with published research or industry recognition
- Exceptional systems thinking and scenario-planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, causal layered analysis)
- Strong proficiency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and predictive modeling techniques
- Experience advising executive teams on strategic pivots and long-term capital allocation decisions
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from University of Houston or foresight certification program) preferred
