Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, society, and markets to forecast 2026+ developments
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for organizational resilience and innovation pipelines
- Translate foresight insights into actionable strategic roadmaps for product development and market entry
- Lead executive workshops and stakeholder presentations on future implications and opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry disruptors
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on emerging paradigms
- Mentor junior strategists in futures methodologies and critical thinking techniques
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Business, or related field (Master's preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills for complex concepts
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Experience facilitating executive-level strategy sessions with measurable outcomes
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFCS, WFS) preferred
