Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and scaling future-facing solutions (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks for ecosystem innovation
- Present future scenarios and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Drive organizational culture of experimentation and rapid prototyping for future technologies
- Monitor geopolitical and regulatory shifts affecting innovation landscapes
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Innovation Management, Technology Strategy, or related field
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing 5-10 year strategic roadmaps for tech-forward organizations
- Expertise in emerging technologies: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Strong analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into actionable insights
- Exceptional communication skills for executive presentations and stakeholder alignment
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or Innovation Management preferred
