Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic foresight framework incorporating AI, biotech, and climate tech trajectories
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities and systemic risks
- Produce high-impact scenario analyses and white papers for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with MIT Media Lab, Singularity University, and other innovation hubs
- Present strategic recommendations to board members and industry stakeholders
- Mentor junior futurists and curate the company's emerging tech portfolio
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technology impact (e.g., Nature Futures)
- Expertise in scenario planning using Delphi method and horizon scanning
- Proven track record of influencing enterprise-level strategy for 5+ year horizons
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
