Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies, societal shifts, and market disruptors through 2030
- Develop and maintain a strategic innovation roadmap aligned with long-term corporate objectives
- Present executive briefings and stakeholder workshops on future scenarios and strategic implications
- Establish cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype future-facing solutions
- Author thought leadership publications and white papers on future trends
- Manage a portfolio of future-focused research partnerships with academic institutions
- Integrate foresight methodologies into product development lifecycle
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and horizon scanning methodologies
- Strong proficiency with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and AI trend analysis
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presence
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy
- Experience with emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
