Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal trends to forecast 2026+ market landscapes
- Develop and communicate strategic innovation roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate breakthrough solutions for future challenges
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and competitor strategies to identify first-mover opportunities
- Translate foresight research into actionable product development and investment priorities
- Build and maintain a network of futurists, researchers, and industry disruptors
- Present strategic recommendations to executive leadership with data-backed scenario planning
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Technology, Business, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD/MSc preferred)
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Proven expertise in scenario planning, trend analysis, and technology assessment
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies and their societal implications
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (whitepapers, books)
- Experience with horizon scanning methodologies and foresight frameworks
