Responsibilities
- Scan global tech landscapes to identify disruptive trends with 5-10 year impact horizons
- Develop scenario-planning models for Fortune 500 clients in emerging markets
- Lead innovation workshops using design thinking and predictive analytics methodologies
- Author annual 'Future State' reports distributed to 2,000+ industry leaders
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Partner with MIT Media Lab and Singularity University on horizon-scanning initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight or corporate innovation with 3+ years at director level
- Published thought leadership in top-tier journals (e.g., Harvard Business Review, Futures)
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and technology adoption curves
- Track record of launching minimum 3 market-disrupting products/services
- Proficiency in Foresight Platform, Palisade @Risk, and AI trend analysis tools
- Portfolio demonstrating 10+ future-shaping projects with measurable outcomes
