Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across technology, geopolitics, and social dynamics to identify disruptive opportunities through 2026
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning and roadmapping for exponential technologies
- Partner with R&D and product teams to translate future insights into innovation pipelines and product roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional workshops on future-casting methodologies and emerging technology adoption strategies
- Produce executive-ready reports and presentations communicating future scenarios and strategic imperatives
- Establish and nurture an external network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Advise leadership on long-term strategic initiatives and risk mitigation for future market disruptions
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with proven impact
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including horizon scanning, scenario planning, and Delphi techniques
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and societal implications
- Exceptional analytical and synthesis skills with ability to communicate complex concepts compellingly
- Experience developing innovation roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or global organizations
- Published thought leadership in futurism or innovation strategy (articles, books, white papers)
