The ideal candidate thrives at the intersection of technological foresight and commercial viability.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology roadmaps across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on disruptive market forces
- Establish strategic partnerships with DARPA, NASA, and global innovation hubs
- Author white papers on human augmentation ethics and decentralized governance models
- Direct R&D investments in synthetic biology and climate adaptation technologies
- Mentor a team of 15 futurists and innovation analysts
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies (3+ exits/patents)
- Deep expertise in quantum computing, neurotech, or climate tech ecosystems
- Published author in Future Studies Journal or equivalent
- Fluency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on disruptive innovation
