Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for quantum computing, AGI, and climate adaptation technologies
- Translate foresight insights into executable product roadmaps and go-to-market strategies
- Build strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Design and facilitate foresight workshops for executive leadership teams
- Author white papers and thought leadership on emerging paradigm shifts
- Monitor and quantify emerging risks/opportunities through predictive modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic planning at Fortune 500 or high-growth tech companies
- Proven track record of identifying and commercializing emerging technologies
- Deep expertise in exponential technology trends (AI, quantum, biotech, clean energy)
- Exceptional systems thinking and causal modeling capabilities
- Published author on future studies or innovation strategy
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating foresight-to-execution success stories
