Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across 15+ emerging technology domains
- Develop 5-year strategic foresight frameworks for product development
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce quarterly innovation impact reports with actionable recommendations
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Advise leadership on exponential technologies' market implications
- Design and launch experimental innovation initiatives with measurable ROI
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven expertise in exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Portfolio demonstrating published foresight work or strategic frameworks
- Certification in foresight methodologies (e.g., CFS, CFSP) preferred
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex trends into business strategy
- Experience with scenario planning and risk mitigation for disruptive innovations
