Responsibilities
- Develop and implement comprehensive 2026+ innovation roadmaps using trend analysis, scenario planning, and horizon scanning
- Lead cross-functional workshops to identify disruptive opportunities in AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable systems
- Produce strategic foresight reports and market intelligence for executive decision-making
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks to capture emerging innovations
- Design and execute future-proofing strategies for existing product ecosystems
- Present visionary insights to investors, board members, and industry stakeholders
- Mentor innovation teams in applying futures thinking to product development
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 5+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating future scenarios into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, synthetic biology, AR/VR, climate tech
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive-level presentation experience
- Strong quantitative and qualitative research capabilities
- Certification in Futures Thinking (e.g., WFS, APF) or relevant innovation frameworks
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-strategy implementations
