- Architect 5-year technology strategy aligning with 2026 vision and market disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives in quantum computing, neuromorphic chips, and decentralized AI
- Identify and evaluate emerging tech investments with $50M+ annual innovation budget
- Develop patent portfolios and IP strategies for next-gen computing paradigms
- Present strategic roadmaps to C-suite and board stakeholders with data-driven recommendations
- Partner with academia and government labs on federally funded future-tech projects
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption ROI and competitive benchmarking
Qualifications
- MS/PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futuristics with 8+ years strategy experience
- Proven track record in scaling tech ecosystems (quantum/AI/blockchain)
- Deep expertise in technology forecasting and disruption modeling frameworks
- Executive-level experience presenting to C-suite and investment committees
- Published thought leadership in IEEE/Nature or equivalent tier publications
- Proficiency in scenario planning tools (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
- Strong network with DARPA, NSF, or equivalent innovation ecosystems
