Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) and their commercial applications
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate future-tech strategies into corporate vision
- Build and manage a portfolio of innovation pilots with measurable ROI
- Represent the company at global tech forums and thought leadership summits
- Mentor cross-functional teams in future-tech implementation methodologies
- Analyze geopolitical and regulatory impacts on technology adoption
- Drive strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation hubs
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology roles with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Proven success in launching commercialized future-tech products/services
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Certifications in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, SFI) or technology management
- Experience building technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Deep understanding of tech policy and global regulatory landscapes
- Exceptional communication skills for translating complex concepts to diverse stakeholders
