Responsibilities
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies (quantum computing, neural interfaces, synthetic biology) for commercial viability
- Develop multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Lead cross-functional R&D initiatives bridging AI, IoT, and biotechnology domains
- Establish innovation KPIs and ROI frameworks for futuristic ventures
- Forge strategic partnerships with academic institutions and deep tech startups
- Present technology visions to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Mentor junior strategists in emerging technology assessment methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in emerging tech assessment
- Expertise in at least two deep tech domains (quantum computing, neurotech, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching technology ventures with $10M+ budgets
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research in IEEE Nature or top-tier innovation journals
- Experience developing technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Strong network with venture capital and academic research institutions
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
