Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) to identify market opportunities for 2026+
- Develop comprehensive technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption timelines
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and secure executive sponsorship
- Monitor global tech trends and competitive landscapes to maintain first-mover advantage
- Establish KPIs and frameworks to measure the ROI of future technology investments
- Build and maintain partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortiums
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of successfully launching future-focused tech initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Exceptional analytical and strategic planning skills with data-driven decision making
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation budgets and managing P&L for tech ventures
- Strong presentation skills with ability to articulate complex concepts to diverse audiences
- Certification in innovation management (e.g., PDMA, CIMP) preferred
