Responsibilities
- Develop and execute 2026+ technology strategy across AI, quantum computing, and biotech verticals
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate next-gen solutions
- Analyze emerging tech trends and competitive landscapes for strategic positioning
- Secure partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present innovation roadmaps to C-suite executives and board members
- Manage $5M+ annual R&D budget for experimental technology initiatives
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote at industry conferences
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 or scale-up companies
- Proven track record launching products with 3+ year market horizons
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, quantum, AR/VR, synthetic biology)
- Executive-level stakeholder management and board presentation experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Published research or patents in future-facing technologies
- Experience securing $10M+ in innovation funding or grants
- Proficiency in strategic foresight methodologies (e.g., horizon scanning, scenario planning)
