Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR) to identify market opportunities and threats
- Develop 5-10 year strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Lead innovation workshops with C-suite executives to align on future tech priorities
- Build partnerships with research institutions and startups to access cutting-edge innovations
- Present strategic recommendations to stakeholders through compelling data-driven narratives
- Monitor global tech policies and regulations to ensure compliance and competitive advantage
- Mentor a team of technology futurists and analysts
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record developing and executing multi-year technology roadmaps
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, AI, biotech, AR/VR)
- Experience with scenario planning and future-casting methodologies
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex technical concepts into business strategy
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to influence executive stakeholders
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field
- Certifications in technology foresight or innovation management preferred
