Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 technology innovation roadmap aligning with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech)
- Conduct horizon scanning and competitive analysis of global tech trends
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation lab operations and $5M annual R&D budget
- Forge strategic partnerships with Silicon Valley startups and academic institutions
- Mentor technical teams on future-proof architecture principles
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership with Fortune 500 experience
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech focus
- Proven track record in scaling AI/ML implementations or emerging tech adoption
- Certified in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (Web3, AR/VR, sustainable tech)
- Experience managing cross-continental innovation teams
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation journals
- Proficient in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Porter's Five Forces)
