Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across AI, biotech, quantum computing, and sustainable tech
- Develop 5-10 year strategic roadmaps aligned with business objectives
- Present findings and recommendations to executive leadership and stakeholders
- Build cross-functional coalitions to implement future-focused initiatives
- Monitor geopolitical shifts and regulatory impacts on emerging technologies
- Produce annual FutureTech Outlook reports with actionable insights
- Represent company at global innovation forums and thought leadership events
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, technology consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or Futures Studies
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology forecasting methodologies
- Strong data analysis skills with proficiency in trend visualization tools
- Exceptional communication abilities for diverse audiences (technical to C-suite)
- Experience with emerging tech ecosystems (Web3, AGI, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Foresight preferred
