Responsibilities
- Architect and prototype next-generation technology solutions with 5-year implementation roadmaps
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing AI-driven sustainability and climate adaptation systems
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies with disruptive potential
- Develop ethical frameworks for autonomous systems and human-AI collaboration
- Present strategic technology roadmaps to C-suite executives and venture capital partners
- Author thought leadership papers on technological singularity preparedness
- Mentor junior engineers in future-proofing methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology R&D with 5+ years in strategic innovation roles
- Expertise in at least three emerging tech domains: quantum computing, neuromorphic AI, or biocomputing
- Proven track record of launching technologies with 5+ year impact horizons
- PhD or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE Nature or similar peer-reviewed journals
- Fluency in Python, TensorFlow, and quantum programming languages
- Certification in Technology Foresight (e.g., from WFS or Foresight Institute)
- Portfolio of at least three implemented future-tech prototypes
