Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) through 2026
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and market disruptions
- Partner with R&D teams to incubate and scale breakthrough innovations
- Conduct competitive analysis and market positioning for next-gen solutions
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive cross-functional initiatives to integrate future technologies into product portfolios
- Manage external stakeholder relationships with tech pioneers and research institutions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, innovation management, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (AI, AR/VR, quantum, etc.)
- Advanced degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or Business
- Strong analytical skills with ability to translate complex tech trends into actionable strategies
- Experience with scenario planning and future-state modeling
- Exceptional communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences
- Certifications in strategic foresight or innovation management preferred
