Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market predictions
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping emerging tech solutions (quantum, bio-AI, metaverse)
- Conduct competitive analysis and scenario planning for disruptive tech adoption
- Establish ethical frameworks for AI/ML deployment in regulated industries
- Secure $2M+ annual innovation budget through strategic vendor partnerships
- Present future tech forecasts to executive board and investor forums
- Mentor junior strategists in technology forecasting methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning with 5+ years in emerging technologies
- Proven track record of launching commercialized tech products (quantum/AI/metaverse)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futures Studies
- Published research in IEEE or Nature Futures journal preferred
- Certified in Technology Foresight (TF) or Horizon Scanning methodologies
- Expertise in regulatory landscapes for emerging tech (NIST, ISO/IEC)
- Experience building tech roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Fluency in at least one programming language (Python/Java/C++)
