Responsibilities
- Architect 3-5 year technology roadmaps for emerging domains (quantum, AR/VR, biotech convergence)
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify disruptive technologies with strategic potential
- Develop intellectual property portfolios through patent strategy and innovation frameworks
- Partner with C-suite to align tech initiatives with business objectives
- Present future tech vision to investors, partners, and industry forums
- Mentor junior innovators and foster a culture of experimentation
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging tech roles
- Proven track record of launching innovative products at scale
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex systems
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Experience with agile innovation methodologies and rapid prototyping
