Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026+ technology strategy roadmap, identifying disruptive innovations with 5-10 year market impact
- Lead cross-functional initiatives integrating AI, blockchain, and quantum computing into enterprise solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning of emerging technologies, producing actionable briefings for C-suite stakeholders
- Forge strategic partnerships with research institutions and venture capital firms
- Present technology forecasts and recommendations to the board of directors
- Manage a $5M innovation portfolio, allocating resources to high-potential projects
- Champion a culture of experimentation, including rapid prototyping and fail-fast methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning, innovation management, or future-focused R&D
- Deep expertise in emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, or biotech convergence
- Proven track record of launching products with 3+ year market impact
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Business with tech specialization
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex data into strategic narratives
- Experience presenting to C-suite and board-level executives
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation journals
- Certification in Futures Thinking or Technology Foresight (preferred)
