Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year technology roadmaps aligning with 2026 market projections
- Identify and evaluate emerging technologies with $1B+ market potential
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing proof-of-concept prototypes
- Secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government labs
- Present technology forecasts to C-suite executives and board members
- Drive patent strategy for proprietary innovations
- Mentor junior researchers in emerging tech methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership
- Proven track record forecasting disruptive technologies
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, etc.)
- Experience securing $10M+ in research funding
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals or conference proceedings
- Strong proficiency in scenario planning and technology impact analysis
- Eligibility for US security clearance (required for government projects)
