Responsibilities
- Develop 3-5 year technology roadmaps aligned with market disruption forecasts
- Lead R&D initiatives in quantum AI, neural interfaces, and decentralized systems
- Partner with C-suite to integrate future-tech strategies into business growth plans
- Conduct horizon-scanning analyses of emerging technologies (AR/VR, biotech, climate tech)
- Manage innovation sprints with venture studios and academic research partners
- Present strategic frameworks to investors and industry consortiums
- Build and mentor a specialized future-tech task force
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic tech roles with 5+ in emerging technologies
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum/AI/sustainable tech)
- Proven track record of launching category-defining products
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Deep understanding of global tech policy and ethical frameworks
- Experience with scenario planning and trend forecasting methodologies
- Strong network with VCs, research labs, and tech accelerators
- Exceptional communication skills for executive and technical audiences
