Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, AI ethics, Web3, etc.) to identify strategic opportunities for 2026+ market disruption
- Develop and execute technology roadmaps aligned with long-term business objectives and market evolution
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype and validate future-facing solutions
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring technological adoption and ROI of future initiatives
- Present strategic recommendations to C-suite executives and investor boards with compelling data-driven narratives
- Foster partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and industry consortia to accelerate innovation
- Mentor technical teams in emerging technologies while maintaining awareness of ethical implications
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or innovation management with proven impact on future-facing initiatives
- Expertise in at least two emerging technology domains (quantum, AI, biotech, AR/VR, blockchain)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA preferred)
- Published thought leadership in technology journals or major industry conferences
- Experience building and scaling technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies or high-growth startups
- Proficiency in strategic frameworks (e.g., Gartner Hype Cycle, Porter's Five Forces for tech ecosystems)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights
- Track record of securing $1M+ budgets for experimental technology initiatives
