Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligning with business objectives and market trends
- Lead research on emerging technologies (quantum computing, AI ethics, biotech convergence) for competitive advantage
- Architect scalable digital ecosystems integrating IoT, blockchain, and immersive technologies
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and board members
- Manage innovation sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Monitor global tech policy shifts and regulatory impacts on future implementations
- Establish KPIs for technology adoption and ROI measurement of future initiatives
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic technology planning with 5+ years in emerging tech roles
- Proven track record developing 5-year+ technology roadmaps for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in at least three emerging technology domains (AI, quantum, AR/VR, biotech)
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision-making capabilities
- Certification in technology strategy (e.g., CTS, TOGAF) or advanced degree in relevant field
- Experience presenting to C-level executives and investment committees
- Published thought leadership in technology innovation or future trends
- Proficient in strategic planning tools (e.g., Aha!, Lucidchart, Tableau)
