Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (AI/ML, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) for commercial viability by 2026
- Develop strategic roadmaps aligning technology trends with business objectives
- Lead cross-functional workshops to ideate future product ecosystems
- Present findings to C-suite executives and stakeholders with data-driven insights
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype and validate future concepts
- Monitor competitor landscapes and regulatory shifts affecting tech adoption
- Build thought leadership through whitepapers and industry conferences
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in tech strategy, R&D, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of forecasting tech trends with 90%+ accuracy
- Expertise in at least two future-tech domains (quantum, AGI, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Strong data analysis skills with experience in scenario planning and forecasting tools
- Exceptional communication ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Published thought leadership in tech innovation or strategy publications
- Experience leading high-impact cross-functional initiatives
