Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with 2026 market projections
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum, neuromorphic, synthetic biology)
- Lead strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Perform competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for future tech domains
- Design innovation frameworks for rapid prototyping of next-gen solutions
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite and board of directors
- Manage $5M+ R&D budget allocation for future-tech initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- 8+ years experience in technology strategy or innovation management
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, quantum, blockchain, etc.)
- Proven track record of launching future-focused products or services
- Certification in Technology Foresight or Strategic Innovation Management
- Experience with patent analysis and intellectual property strategy
- Strong presentation skills with executive audiences
